Odyssey Robust RUB - 5.5 ounce Jar Developed specifically for roasts, ribs, etc.... delicious on Beef, Pork, Lamb or.... The seasonings in this Rub do a fantastic job of permeating the meat and kicking up your meal. This product makes a great marinade for steaks, chops, and chicken when mixed 2 parts olive oil to 1 part rub. Suggestion: Take the roast and pat dry to remove excess surface moisture. Rub the roast down with your favorite olive oil. Then apply the Robust Rub seasoning by sprinkling it on the flat bottom surface of your roasting pan. Roll the roast over the Robust Rub seasonings in the pan so that they cover all surfaces of your roast. Add additional Rub where needed. For best results, do this at least a half-hour before putting the roast in the oven. Cook 15 minutes at a high heat of 450 F degrees and then lower the temperature to 350 F degrees until a thermometer reads for desired doneness. Roasts are 20-22 minutes to the pound.
